Sustainability as our commitment
Last year was a year of concrete steps in the area of sustainability for Botanique Hotel Prague. We carried out our second ESG audit for 2024, completed the calculation of our carbon footprint and set a clear sustainability strategy for the period 2025-2027.
In cooperation with SUSTO – Sustainability Tools, we created a document that defines seven strategic goals and annual action plans. We established a Green Committee, which helped us to obtain Green Key certification and coordinates other environmental initiatives. You can see our first audit for 2023 here.
We introduced online check-in, staff training in sustainability and continued to implement other green practices in the areas of cleaning and operations. We offer guests the opportunity to get involved – whether by choosing sustainable transportation or participating in the tree planting program called “I don’t need cleaning today, I’d rather plant a tree.”
The ESG audit also resulted in the establishment of a diversity and inclusion program that focuses on equal opportunities, respect for individuality and support for teamwork.
We communicate openly, measure the impacts of our business and look for new ways to improve. Our goal is not only to be a sustainable hotel, but also a partner for responsible travel. For us, sustainability is not a destination, but a journey – and we want to go there together. Thank you for supporting us on this journey.
